Can be used chilled for comfort in the perineal area following vaginal birth, including after tearing or episiotomy

May be applied gently over a caesarean incision once dressings are removed, with guidance from your Lead Maternity Carer

Suitable for use on sensitive areas, including anal discomfort or swelling

For Vaginal Birth:

Place in the freezer for at least one hour. Insert into the fabric sleeve and wear externally with your pad or underwear, or use while resting.

For Caesarean Birth:

Store in the fridge rather than the freezer. Once cooled, position gently over the incision area using a cloth barrier. Only use once dressings have been removed and in line with guidance from your Lead Maternity Carer.

For Warm Use:

Wrap in a damp cloth and heat in the microwave in short intervals (up to 30 seconds). Gentle warmth may feel comfortable after the initial swelling phase. Follow advice from your Lead Maternity Carer before use.

Important:

Always use with the sleeve or a cloth barrier. Do not apply directly to the skin.
